Jim Mazey - Co-Pastor: Jim has been involved in ministry for over 33 years while working full time and retiring from BF Goodrich after 41 years of service. He was licensed to the ministry by the Church of The Brethren in 1977, ordained under Grace Fellowship of Mansfield in 1985 and again by the Alliance for Renewal Churches in 1988.

Jim and Sandee were married in 1965 and have two children and two grandchildren. Sandee also has been involved in ministry for many years and teaches at a Christian Preschool and oversees the children’s programs at Harvest.

Ed Padley - Co-Pastor: Ed and Monica were married in 1975, the same year that they became born-again Christians. They have three children and five grandchildren. Ed and Monica have been in ministry for over 30 years including 15 years in missions work in the U.S. and Brazil. As a bi-vocational pastor, Ed is currently the Executive Director of Advent Ministries, Inc (www.AdventToday.com) and the President of IAM USA(www.IAMUSA.org). Ed has served on the pastoral staff of Harvest since 1985, has been licensed and ordained since 1993, and currently serves as co-Senior Pastor with Jim Mazey.

James Gammalo - Elder: Pastor Jim Gammalo was raised in North Ridgeville, Ohio where he graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 1990. He then served 5 years in the regular U.S. Army and one year in the Ohio National Guard as a helicopter repair man. While stationed in the Army at Wheeler Army Airfield in Hawaii, Jim came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and was born again in 1994. Jim attended a small local Hawaiian church where he met his wife Alice.

Jim and Alice were married on September 8th, 1995; they now have three children, Jazmine, Elisha, and Anna. Currently Jim is bi-vocational and works at Beckett Air as a press tool and die set-up man. Licensed and ordained in 2006, Jim serves as an elder at Harvest where he oversees a home group Bible study, Voice of the Martyrs support, Salvation Army outreach and regularly preaches Gods word.

Rick Widener -Elder Emeritus: The founding pastor of Harvest Christian Church, Rick and his wife Joanne have two children, Mark and Rachel, and 6 grandchildren. After 23 years as the pastor of Harvest, Rick and Joanne responded to a call to the mission field and spent almost 4 years working with the ARC Brazil. After returning, he continues as the Missions Director of the ARC and working with church planters and caring for pastors, both in the USA and on the mission field. "Our passion is to see young leaders raised up to take up our places as we move on in our own ministry."

Sam Work - Worship Leader: 0n September 21, 1974, at the age of twelve, Sam attended a James Robinson crusade and accepted the Lord as his personal Savior. Sam says, Jesus Christ was the best thing to ever happen to me.” In May of 1983 Sam married his wife Laurie; they were blessed with their son Brian in February 1994. Sam says that, “I am so blessed that God has brought Laurie and Brian into my life.” Sam and Laurie have been members of Harvest Christian Church for over 20 years. Sam has been part of the worship team for the last ten years and has had the privilege in the last six years to lead the worship at Harvest. Sam says that, “It is so fun to enter into worship with the Lord. Our desire is that every time we enter into a time with the Lord that we could feel and see Him move in the midst of us and that we could fully partake and join in what He is doing.”

Nelson Juarez –Youth Leader: Nelson has been a member of Harvest since the early 1990’s where he currently serves as the Youth Leader. Nelson is married to his lovely wife Melissa who is a key partner in ministering to youth. Nelson graduated from Cleveland State University with degrees in English and Education and he currently teaches 10th grade English for the Lorain City School District at LCCC. Nelson has been the Youth Leader for about seven years, before that he was the assistant Youth Leader. Nelson is well respected by the youth of Harvest where he and his wife Melissa have weekly meetings with the youth as well as scheduling and coordinating special events for the youth. Nelson and Melissa have developed a good working relationship with many of the ARC’s churches and regularly interact and work collaboratively with their youth leaders as well.
